How I Made the Fake Blood for Scene 3
The Supplies
The supplies I used for this prop were food coloring, water, dish soap, a bowel, a spoon, and corn syrup. The time it took to make this was 15 minutes
STEP BY STEP PROCESS
Step 1
Pour 2 cups of corn syrup into the bowl and add 3 drops of red food dye
Step 2
Stir until the color blinds together, then add 2 tablespoon of water, and 1 tablespoon of dish soap to change the texture of the blood of thick and or what I like to call it "drippy"
Step 3
Add 2 drops of blue food coloring to the mixture to make the blood darker and realistic looking, then stir until satisfied
RESULTS!!!!!!
The results were excellent!! The blood has runny and the perfect texture for the filming, it is also edible so if any of us accidentally consumed it we would be fine. The only down side is it is extremely sticky and will stain your skin!!
