BE HIDE THE SCENE PHOTOS + EXPLANATION PART 2

 All these BTS photos are from scene 3 of Roxy killing Alex in the school parking lot 

Photo 1(Me)

This photo is a practice shot of Roxy (me) putting on the prom queen crown after killing Alex. This practice shot was vital to practice as it made my action seem more natural in the film. Another reason why Ale needed me to take this shot multiple times was because the fake blood would stick in my hair causing my hair to quite literally go everywhere and become extremely messy and time consuming.

Photo 2 (Alex and I)

This photo is a practice action shot of me grabbing Alex's shoulder in the scene where I kill her. We took this photo for multiple reasons; the first reason was for Alex and me to see if our actions looked natural for the camera to ensure our movements are clear and fluent. Another reason was I kept scaring Alex every time I crept be hide her because she didn't know when we started to film so her reaction would be more realistic, but in one take she screamed so loudly we were afraid someone was going to report us of noise complaint, luckily that didn't happen.

Photo 3 (Setting Up)

  

This photo captures Alex and I taking our places for the end of scene 3. We needed to practice setting up multiple times as we would hear an animal in the bushes near us and would scare us causing us to move locations in the parking lot. We also had trouble setting up as Ale would be in the shot because of the streetlights casting her shadow in the shots, as you can see in this photo on the left side.

Photo 4 (Alex)

In this photo Ale and I are instructing Alex how to lay for the scene of when she's "dead." We needed to instruct her how to lay as everyone she did on her own were good, but didn't look realistic on camera. Thus, causing Ale and I to look up poses on Google for reference.

Photo 5 (Setting Up)

In this photo I am taking the fake blood and spreading it on my hands and the crown, sash, and scissors. I struggled doing this on my own, so I had the help of Alex with spreading the blood on my hands due to the fake blood being so sticky it caused my fingers to stick together causing me to pick up the props.
